An upper-air cyclonic circulation over the Strait of Malacca is likely to move into the Andaman Sea within the next 24 hours. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around October 13.
Another cyclonic circulation lies over South Bangladesh and neighbouring areas. These weather systems are expected to influence rainfall across eastern and other parts of the country.
